Technique
Setup
Hold one kettlebell in the rack position, resting on your forearm against your chest. Stand with feet hip-width, weight over your mid-foot and core braced.
Movement
Dip a few inches by bending your knees with your torso upright, then drive straight up through your legs and use that momentum to press the bell to lockout. Lower it back to the rack and absorb it with soft knees. Finish the set, then switch sides.
Form Tip
The dip is short and straight down, not a squat or a forward lean; let your legs start the bell moving, then finish with your arm.
Increase Difficulty
Use a heavier bell, or press two bells at once.
Decrease Difficulty
Use a lighter bell, or build the strict Kettlebell Overhead Press first.
