Technique
Setup
Set both pulleys above head height and take a handle in each hand. Step forward into a split stance between the towers with a slight forward lean, arms out wide and elbows softly bent.
Movement
Sweep your hands down and together in a wide arc until they meet in front of your lower chest. Squeeze for a moment, then let your arms open back along the same arc until you feel a stretch across your chest.
Form Tip
Set the soft elbow bend before the first rep and keep it fixed. If your elbows bend and straighten as you go, the fly turns into a press and the stretch lands on your shoulders.
Increase Difficulty
Pause for 2 seconds with your hands together, or cross one hand over the other at the bottom for a longer squeeze.
Decrease Difficulty
Use a lighter stack and a shorter arc, or switch to Band Chest Flyes.
