Technique
Setup
Start in a push-up position with your hands about twice shoulder-width apart, fingers turned slightly out. Brace your core and squeeze your glutes so your body forms one straight line.
Movement
Shift your weight toward one hand and lower your chest beside it, bending that elbow while the other arm stays nearly straight. Press back to the middle, then lower toward the other side.
Form Tip
Keep the working elbow tucked at about 45 degrees and your hips level; letting the hips twist hands the work to your lower back.
Increase Difficulty
Keep the straight arm fully locked and rest it on just your fingertips so it supports less weight.
Decrease Difficulty
Narrow your hands, perform from your knees, or go back to standard Push-Ups.
