Technique
Setup
Place hands slightly wider than shoulder-width on the floor, fingers spread. Align feet together or hip-width apart. Maintain a straight line from head to heels by bracing your core and squeezing your glutes.
Movement
Lower your body by bending elbows at a 45-degree angle until your chest nearly touches the floor. Push back up to the starting position by extending your arms fully.
Form Tip
Keep your neck neutral and avoid sagging your hips. Focus on pushing the floor away to maximize pectoral engagement.
Increase Difficulty
Elevate your feet on a bench or perform 'Diamond Push-Ups' by bringing hands together.
Decrease Difficulty
Perform the movement with your knees on the floor or with hands elevated on a bench.
