Technique
Setup
Hang from a pull-up bar with a shoulder-width grip. Keep your body still and avoid swinging.
Movement
Lift your legs (straight or bent) until they are at least parallel to the floor. Lower them back down with control.
Form Tip
Focus on curling your pelvis upward rather than just lifting your legs. This ensures the rectus abdominis is doing the work rather than just the hip flexors.
Increase Difficulty
Keep your legs perfectly straight or lift your toes all the way to the bar (Toes-to-Bar).
Decrease Difficulty
Perform 'Hanging Knee Raises' by bending your knees as you lift.
