Technique
Setup
Support your body weight on your forearms and toes. Forearms should be parallel, elbows directly under your shoulders.
Movement
Hold your body in a straight line from head to heels. Brace your core and squeeze your glutes.
Form Tip
Do not let your hips sag or hike up. Imagine pulling your elbows toward your toes to increase abdominal tension.
Increase Difficulty
Elevate your feet or lift one arm/leg at a time to challenge stability.
Decrease Difficulty
Perform the plank on your knees or with your hands elevated on a bench.
