Technique
Setup
Lie flat on your back with hands under your glutes for support. Keep your legs straight.
Movement
Lift your legs to a 90-degree angle, then lower them slowly back toward the floor without letting your heels touch.
Form Tip
Keep your lower back pressed firmly into the floor. If it arches, do not lower your legs as far.
Increase Difficulty
Raise your hips off the floor at the top (reverse crunch) or add ankle weights.
Decrease Difficulty
Perform with bent knees to reduce leverage.
