Technique
Setup
Attach a close-grip V-handle to the high pulley and hold it with your palms facing each other. Lock your thighs under the pad and sit tall with your arms fully extended overhead.
Movement
Drive your elbows down toward your hips, bringing the handle to your upper chest as you lean back slightly. Return slowly until your arms are straight and you feel a stretch down your sides.
Form Tip
Keep your elbows close to your body and think about pulling them into your back pockets. Letting the handle drift away from your chest hands the work to your arms.
Increase Difficulty
Pause for 1 second with the handle at your chest, or slow the return to 3 seconds.
Decrease Difficulty
Use a lighter stack, or switch to Band Lat Pulldowns (Kneeling).
