Technique
Setup
Hold two kettlebells in the rack position, resting on your forearms at your chest with elbows tucked. Stand with feet shoulder-width, toes slightly out.
Movement
Squat until your thighs reach parallel, then drive up hard and use that momentum to press both bells overhead to lockout in one smooth motion. Bring the bells back to the rack as you sink into the next squat.
Form Tip
Finish the press with your ribs down and glutes squeezed; arching your lower back to get the bells overhead is the most common way this exercise hurts.
Increase Difficulty
Use heavier bells, or work for a set time instead of a set number of reps.
Decrease Difficulty
Hold one bell by the horns at your chest and press it with both hands, or use lighter bells.
