Technique
Setup
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
Movement
Perform a regular squat, then explosively jump upward. Land softly by rolling from toe to heel and immediately descend into the next rep.
Form Tip
Maintain a tall chest as you descend. The landing is critical; absorb the impact by going directly back into the squat position.
Increase Difficulty
Hold a light dumbbell at your chest or increase the height of the jump.
Decrease Difficulty
Perform 'Power Squats' (explosive stand without leaving the floor).
