Technique
Setup
Stand with feet hip-width and the kettlebell on the floor just in front of you. Hinge and grip the handle with one hand, thumb pointing back, free arm loose at your side.
Movement
Hike the bell back, drive your hips forward, and let the bell float up close to your body; as it passes your face, punch your hand up through the handle so it settles on your forearm at lockout overhead. Guide it back down the same path into the hinge. Finish the set, then switch sides.
Form Tip
Punch through at the top instead of letting the bell arc over and crash onto your wrist; if your forearm stings, the path is too wide.
Increase Difficulty
Use a heavier bell, or work for a set time instead of a set number of reps.
Decrease Difficulty
Use a lighter bell, and get comfortable with Kettlebell Swings and Kettlebell Cleans first.
