Technique
Setup
Set both pulleys at the lowest position and take a handle in each hand, palms facing forward. Step forward into a split stance with your arms low beside your hips and your elbows softly bent.
Movement
Scoop your hands up and together in an arc until they meet in front of your upper chest, about collarbone height. Lower slowly along the same arc until your hands are back beside your hips.
Form Tip
Stand tall and keep your shoulders down as your hands rise. Shrugging up to meet the handles moves the work into your traps and front delts instead of your upper chest.
Increase Difficulty
Pause for 2 seconds at the top, or slow the lowering phase to 3 seconds.
Decrease Difficulty
Use a lighter stack, or switch to Band Chest Flyes with the band anchored low.
