Technique
Setup
Stand with feet hip-width and the kettlebell on the floor between them, in line with your ankles. Push your hips back, bend your knees slightly, and grip the handle with both hands, arms long and back flat.
Movement
Brace, pull your shoulders down, and push the floor away until you stand tall with your hips fully extended. Reverse it by sending your hips back first and lowering the bell to the floor between your feet.
Form Tip
Keep the bell directly under your hips, not out in front of your toes; a bell set too far forward turns the lift into a rounded-back reach.
Increase Difficulty
Use a heavier bell, pause just below the knees, or progress to Kettlebell Swings.
Decrease Difficulty
Raise the bell onto a low step or plate to shorten the range.
