Technique
Setup
Lie on your side with both legs straight and stacked, hips vertical, head resting on your lower arm.
Movement
Lift your top leg toward the ceiling without rotating your hip, then lower it slowly back down.
Form Tip
Keep your toes pointing forward or slightly down — if they turn up, the hip flexors take over from the glutes.
Increase Difficulty
Add a loop band around your ankles or pause 2 seconds at the top.
Decrease Difficulty
Bend the bottom knee for stability and shorten the range.
